Blooms by the Sea: A Family Wedding in the Maldives

This month’s occasion holds a very special place in our hearts—a sun-kissed wedding on the shores of the Maldives, created for none other than one of our own family members.

When we found out the ceremony would be set against turquoise waters and white sands, we knew we wanted the flowers to be just as breathtaking. So, we packed our floral shears (and our swimsuits!) and flew out to bring a little UK heart to this island celebration.

Rather than flying in blooms, we embraced the adventure of sourcing locally grown Maldivian flowers—a tropical mix of crisp white petals, vibrant pinks, and golden yellow accents. We combined playful pops of color with elegant structure, creating arrangements that felt wild, joyful, and completely in tune with the ocean breeze.

From barefoot vows to beachside dancing, every floral detail was infused with love—and a little island magic.
